HISTORY
THE DIGITAL KALPANA STUDIO
Bihari Lal Tamrakar was pioneer Photographer in Vindhya region, who founded the Kalpana Studio in 1967, Rewa’s biggest photography company.
Kalpana was regarded on the name of his sweet daughter. He was so influential in the industry of photography at that time. Then Later his elder son Sanjiv Tamrakar started handling his business in 1985, unfortunately, he passed away in 2005. The demise of Sanjiv Tamrakar left a big void in the community of photographers.Then later on 2005 Amit Tamrakar (Younger Son of Bihari Lal Tamrakar), At very yound age joined his family business and maintain the legacy. The Kalpana studio story is not a story of privilege or entitlement. It is a story of grit and gumption; of struggle against incredible odds; of dreams, and the striving and self belief that turned them into reality.
